eFinancialz Incorporated is a company incorporated in Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.
What this website collects
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies. It does not have a contact form. The only personal information we receive directly is what you choose to send us by email — typically your name, your firm, your email address, and whatever you describe in your message.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. As a result, your browser makes a request to a Google server when a page loads, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. We do not receive or store that information, and we do not use it. If you prefer to avoid it, browser extensions that block third-party font requests will prevent the call without breaking the site.
How we use it
Information you send by email is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing. We do not add enquirers to a mailing list.
Client data handled during engagements
Where we prepare files for a CPA firm, that firm remains the party accountable to its own clients for their personal information. We act on that firm's instructions, under a written engagement and confidentiality agreement, and we do not use client data for any purpose beyond the work the firm has instructed. Specific handling and security terms are set out in the engagement documents rather than in this policy.
Retention
Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, or as required to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention requirements. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
